On September 16, we’re opening our doors so you can experience it firsthand.
We’ve lined up two essential events back-to-back in a single evening, making it seamless for you to get connected.

New to campus? Start your evening here. Think of this as your ultimate insider playbook to get fully up to speed on our resources, communication tools, and support networks before the school year gets into full swing.
- Step 2: Step Into Their Shoes
(Meet Your Teachers Night)
Right after orientation, the doors open for all FVL guardians. You will walk your student’s personal period-by-period schedule—moving from classroom to classroom, meeting each of their teachers, and sitting in the exact seats where they learn every day.

SCHEDULES
New Parent Orientation (6:00–6:45 PM, Auditorium)
This session is especially for families new to FVL, but returning families who’d like a refresher are welcome too. You’ll hear from our Principal, Guidance Office, and Student Life staff about FVL’s core services and the many ways we communicate throughout the school year.
- Arrival: Please arrive between 5:45 and 6:00 PM to pick up materials in the Auditorium lobby.
- What to Expect: A fast-track guide to the school year from our Administration, Academic Services (formerly called Guidance), and Student Life teams. We will cover key resources, campus services, and communication tools. (Returning parents wanting a refresher are welcome!)
Meet Your Teachers (7:00–8:32 PM - arrive at 6:45PM)
After Orientation, parents and guardians are invited to meet their student’s teachers face-to-face and learn more about the classes they’ll be taking this fall.
- Pick up your student’s schedule starting at 6:45 PM in the Commons.
- Then follow the bell schedule below to visit each class:

Parking
Please park in the east lot and enter through the Commons Entrance (Door K, near the football field).
