St. Peter - 922 Ministries | Aftercare Team!

St. Peter-922 Ministries Early Childhood Ministry is looking for a responsible, caring high school student to join our aftercare team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys spending time with young children and wants to make a positive difference in their day.

Hours:

• 3:30–5:30 PM

• Various days, Monday–Friday, based on availability and program needs

• ​Closed during school holidays

Responsibilities include:

• Providing a safe, caring, and fun environment for preschool children

• Supervising children during play and other activities

• Serving afternoon snacks

• Playing games, reading books, and interacting with children

• Providing gentle guidance and age-appropriate discipline when needed

• Helping with end-of-day cleaning, including wiping down tables and chairs, sweeping floors, and tidying the classroom

We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with young children

• Is dependable, patient, and responsible

• Has a positive attitude and is willing to be a team player

• Can follow directions and take initiative when needed
