10/26 Activities Update - 4th quarter 20-3 run propels the Foxes over the Irish

Football vs Freedom - W 27-23
The Foxes trailed the Irish 20-7 at halftime but rallied back with a 20-3 second-half scoring run to secure the win! The Foxes scored twice in the fourth quarter, on a 1-yard run by quarterback Drew Mears, and then on a 9-yard pass from Mears to Parker Knoll to put the Foxes ahead.

Drew Mears: 13 for 26 - 185 YDS - 3 TD - 1 INT
Seth Voeller: 16 carries for 78 YDS
Brendan Schulz: 5 recp. for 115 YDS - 2 TD
Defense: Sacks recorded by Eli Retzlaff & Luke Movrich; Forced Fumble by Jonah Bixby; Interception by Parker Knoll

Cross Country Sectionals at Hortonville
Senior Luke Donart advanced to the D1 Cross Country State Meet! Taking 8th place overall, he was the 4th individual qualifier, coming in at 16:51.

Caleb Zernicke came in 12th place overall (17:15), just missing individual qualification by two places. Drew Homan placed 27th at 17:49.

For the girls, Olivia Krahn placed 16th (20:12), missing qualification by three places. Ani Tollerud came in 23rd (20:56).

NEXT: Luke will race at State on Saturday, 10/31 at Arrowhead HS.

Volleyball Regional Final vs Kaukauna -- W 3-0
The Foxes swept the Ghosts 25-20, 25-20, 25-15 to advance in the playoffs! Cassie Patchett had eight kills for the Foxes. Kennedy Schmitz led with 16 digs, and Holly Malkowski had 22 assists.

NEXT: FVL will host Reedsburg in their Sectional Semifinal on Thursday, 10/29. Time TBD.

Soccer Regional Final at Seymour -- L 3-1
The Seymour Thunder snapped a scoreless game with two goals in less than two minutes in the second half to top the Foxes. FVL narrowed the gap with a goal by Ben Riehle off an assist by Riley Ninmann at 64:13. FVL had 10 shots on the goal compared to Seymour's nine. FVL goalkeeper Nathan Hempel had six saves.
