Yearbook planning is already underway, and seniors, we need your photo! Please schedule your senior portrait sitting during the summer so that the November 1 deadline can be met. Carefully read these guidelines and share this document with your photographer.
PHOTO RESOLUTION
High-resolution digital color photo
(at least 1500 x 2100 pixels at 300 dpi)
Note that snapshots and “quick-service” photos do not provide the resolution needed for the yearbook.

STUDENTS
It is your responsibility to confirm with Miss Detjen that your photo has been received.
The photo needs to be taken in a traditional yearbook pose like the above pictured examples. The student’s wardrobe needs to adhere to the FVL dress code. Please go to fvlhs.org/handbook-details/~board/fvlhshandbook/post/10-dress-code.
Notice that the dress code restricts body piercing. Avoid “glamour” poses, bare or partially bare shoulder shots, low-cut necklines, and over-the-shoulder poses. No hands should be showing in these photos—we want to see your face!
Your yearbook photo is to be more formal than casual. Please remember this is the photo people will have of you for years to come.
Please note that if these guidelines are not met, Cross and Crown reserves the right to ask for a replacement image or to not publish the photo if a replacement cannot be provided.
