9-4 Sports Update -- Football wins first home game 21-19

Football vs Lux-Casco -- W 21-19
The Foxes won a close game in their opener on their home turf! The Foxes' offense came out strong, scoring all their points in the first half. Andrew Behm ran 3 yards for the first TD, followed closely by a passing TD by Jeb Dobberstein. Behm scored again in the second on a 21-yard pass. The defense made their stand in the second half, securing the win for the Foxes. Behm recorded one sack, and Brodie Van Handel & Isaac Kramer added two a piece. Isaiah Ulman was 12 for 25 for 126 yards with 2 TD's and 2 INT.

Volleyball Inv. at Wisconsin Rapids -- 1st place
The Foxes went 5-0 for the second time this season! They beat Wausau East (25-18, 25-17), Northland Pines (25-18, 25-18), and Manawa (25-12, 25-10) to make it to the semifinals. They then beat Sheboygan Falls (22-25, 25-13, 15-6) and went on to win the championship against Wausau East (28-26, 27-25). Holly Malkowski had 14 aces, 24 digs, 13 kills, and 52 assists. Mickenzi Benter added 21 digs, 28 kills, and 37 assists. Cassie Patchett and Bailey Jacobsen added 25 and 18 kills respectively.

Soccer at Winneconne -- W 10-0
The Foxes had a huge shutout game against the Winneconne Wolves! They went nearly 35 minutes between their first and second goals, but scored nine in succession in a little over 32 minutes. The offense was spread evenly, with goals scored by Hayden Block, Spencer Jens (2), Gavin Rehberg, Blake Maxwell, Ben Riehle, Caleb Gordee, Addison Fett, Dylan Cootway, and Jonah Brown. Overall, FVL outshot Winneconne 24-2.
