This past July, 11 FVL students traveled to Lusaka, Zambia in Africa. While there, they worked in two schools, Kaunda Square and Matero, and taught an art lesson, shared a Bible story, and helped paint the school. They also raised money for library books for the schools through a spaghetti supper and bake sale.
These students were also able to visit the curio market and the Lower Zambezi National Park and enjoy a boating safari.
This mission trip provided a way for the students to make great connections with the African students. They enjoyed playing games and teaching them songs.
