Miss Rachel Naumann will be serving as a Special Education teacher at FVL! This position was made possible by additional funding FVL will receive through participation in the Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP).
"The Holy Spirit definitely did his work in the call," Rachel said. "I have always had a passion for tutoring, working one-on-one with students, and working with small groups. My clinical experience was actually a similar position, which was somewhat unusual for an Elementary Ed major, but I ended up loving the experience, so I'm really looking forward to my new position at FVL!"
Prior to coming to FVL, Rachel was a tutor at Luther Preparatory School for two years (2016-18). From there, she was assigned to St. John's in Montello, WI where she taught grades 5-8 (2018-19), grades 3-5 (2019-20) and served as athletic director (2018-20).
Rachel will be married to Ryan Lemke (FVL biology and chemistry teacher) this summer!

Favorite Bible Passage: Philippians 4:4-7 "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - This was Rachel's confirmation verse.
Talents, Interests, Passions: "I absolutely love soccer. I also enjoy reading, photography, playing the piano, and, saving the best for last, the Jacksonville Jaguars."
