After prayerful consideration, Mr. Shawn Herkstroeter has been led to return the call to FVL. A new list of candidates will be requested for the 12/17 Board of Regents meeting. Please continue to keep the FVL ministry in your prayers as we move forward with the call process.
FVL is pleased to announce the initial installation of a beautiful set of bronze statues at the SE corner of our school, near the entrance to the school's new Community Room. This generous donation is given in memory of former FVL religion teacher Rev. John Murphy by his family.
The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) creates School Report Cards and District Report Cards for publicly funded schools and districts in the state. Starting in the 2015-16 school year, report cards are also generated for private schools based on students participating in the choice program. FVL also submits data for all enrolled students to generate an all-school report card.
FVL's Director of Mission Advancement Jeff Loberger received and accepted his call to serve as FVL's Principal of Administration. This title will change to President when the FVL Constitution is revised this coming year.
When experiencing our more extreme winter weather, Fox Valley Lutheran High School follows a process for deciding if school will be open, closed, or have a 2-hour delay. We serve a very large geographical area, and weather/road conditions can be noticeably different across the region, so some decisions we make may not “fit” the weather/road conditions in your area.
