Part-Time Evening Childcare Position

Position Overview

Seeking a reliable and caring individual to provide evening childcare for a 1-year-old girl, 3 evenings per week. This position involves picking up the child from a local caregiver's home at 6:00 PM, transporting her home, and staying with her until her parents return (typically around 7-8:00 PM).

Schedule

• Days: 3 evenings per week (specific days TBD)
• Hours: Approximately 1-2 hours per evening
• Start Time: 6:00 PM pickup
• End Time: 7:00-8:00 PM (when parents arrive home)

Responsibilities

• Pick up child from current caregiver's residence at 6:00 PM
• Safely transport child to her home
• Provide attentive care and supervision until parents return
• Maintain the child's evening routine

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Experience with infant/toddler care
• Punctual and dependable
• Comfortable with evening availability

Compensation

• Hourly rate to be discussed with family directly
• Note: This position may qualify for volunteer hours, internship credits, or service-learning hours for students in relevant programs (education, child development, etc.)

About the Family

The child's parents are string instructors (Chelsea Wilms and Bethany Lehman) who serve on the praise team, and their work schedule occasionally requires extended evening hours.
